How subscriptions work
When does Pro start?
Pro starts only after payment succeeds — opening checkout or picking a plan does not start billing. Once the charge clears, that license’s paid period begins, the key appears under Account, and you can activate it in the desktop app.
What if I cancel?
Cancel auto-renew from your Account dashboard (on the license card). Auto-renew stops; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling does not issue a refund for time already purchased — refunds, when available, follow the Terms of Service.
Can I buy more than one license?
Yes. Buy as many as you need. Each purchase is its own subscription, starts when its payment succeeds, and allows up to two machine activations.
How do licenses work?
Each Song Serpent license covers two machines at once. In Account, revoke a seat on one machine to free it, then activate the same license on another. Song Serpent does not replace engine subscriptions or public-performance licenses for venues — see Third-Party Engines & Venue Licensing.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10+ or macOS 10.15+, 64-bit (Intel/AMD or ARM). Fangcast™ needs dual display. Full details — display, network, and engine setup — are in the Docs.
