1. Our copyrights
The Song Serpent Site, Software, documentation, and original creative materials are protected by copyright and other laws. Unauthorized copying or redistribution of our Software is prohibited except as allowed by the EULA or mandatory law.
2. Third-party content
Song Serpent does not host Engine karaoke catalogs. Music, lyrics, and audiovisual karaoke works remain subject to rights held by Engine vendors, labels, publishers, and collecting societies. Users must not use Song Serpent to infringe those rights.
3. DMCA / copyright complaints (U.S.)
If you believe material hosted on the Song Serpent website (not an Engine catalog) infringes your copyright, send a notice including:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work;
- identification of the material on our Site and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
- your contact information;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
Send notices to: support@songserpent.com with subject line “Copyright Notice”.
We may remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing and may terminate repeat infringers’ accounts where appropriate.
4. Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g). We may forward it to the complainant.
5. Engine disputes
Disputes about Engine catalog content must be directed to the Engine vendor. Song Serpent cannot adjudicate Engine repertoire claims.
