Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to the Song Serpent Site and Software. Capitalized terms have the meanings in the EULA and Terms of Service.
1. Permitted use
You may use Song Serpent to operate karaoke or similar events for which you have all required rights, Engine subscriptions, and venue licenses, and in a manner that complies with law and third-party terms that apply to you.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use Song Serpent to:
- violate any law, regulation, or court order;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity, or other rights;
- perform music publicly without required collective-management / public-performance licenses;
- violate an Engine vendor’s terms, including rules on automation, remote control, embedding, scraping, account sharing, or technical protection measures;
- access Engine accounts, rooms, or sessions you are not authorized to use;
- attempt to permanently download, crack, rip, or redistribute protected Engine catalog content through or alongside the Software;
- misrepresent Song Serpent as an official product of Atomix Productions, Recisio, or any Engine vendor;
- probe, scan, or attack our Site, licensing systems, or other users;
- interfere with license enforcement, activations, or entitlement checks;
- resell seats or operate an unauthorized SaaS wrapper around the Software; or
- engage in fraud, abusive chargebacks, or harassment of support staff.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate accounts or licenses, report unlawful activity, and cooperate with vendors or authorities when we believe it is necessary to protect rights or safety.
